Looking for affordable housing? Fresno Housing is now accepting pre-applications for select Affordable & Low-Income Public Housing communities throughout Fresno County.
Interest lists are open for select 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-bedroom homes. Available bedroom sizes vary by location.

Opens: July 7, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
Closes: July 28, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
✅ Program and income qualifications apply.

Public Comment Period Now Open
Fresno Housing is seeking public input on a proposed Significant Amendment to its current Public Housing Agency (PHA) Annual Plan and 5-Year Plan.
The proposed amendment includes updates related to future affordable housing development projects, Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) activities, and other PHA Plan provisions.

On Wednesday, June 24, 2026, we celebrated the groundbreaking of Davu Village, the next milestone in the ongoing transformation of the Parkway Drive corridor.
Located at the former Golden State Triage Center site, Davu Village will create 62 affordable apartment units, plus one manager's unit, through the rehabilitation and adaptive reuse of existing structures, along with new construction. The community will also include supportive housing units for individuals transitioning out of homelessness or at risk of homelessness.
This project reflects the power of partnership. Thank you to the City of Fresno, County of Fresno, California Department of Housing and Community Development, California Tax Credit Allocation Committee, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, PNC Bank, The Kresge Foundation, The California Endowment, R.L. Davidson Architects, ProWest Constructors, our elected officials, and everyone who joined us to celebrate this important milestone.
Together, we're expanding housing opportunities, strengthening neighborhoods, and creating vibrant communities throughout Fresno County.
