In addition to housing, we offer innovative programs focused on achieving economic independence, educational success, and self-sufficiency, as well as programs to get and stay healthy and become involved in the community.
Fresno Housing provides affordable housing opportunities to nearly 50,000 residents through agency owned rental housing, and the Housing Choice Voucher Program.
We meet our residents where they’re at. If a resident’s goal is outside of the Fresno Housing programming, we can connect them through our network of community partners and help navigate the systems to provide the support desired. Fresno Housing joined the City of Fresno and community leaders to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new downtown parking garage near Fulton Street and Tuolumne.
During the event, Fresno Housing CEO Tyrone Roderick Williams highlighted the strong partnership with the City and shared a preview of what’s ahead for a neighboring site, the former CVS property, which will become The Roos at Fulton Forum, a name honoring the historic Roos Atkins department store that helped shape downtown Fresno in the early 1900s.
The new garage will add 603 parking stalls to downtown, supporting future housing and economic development in the North Fulton area and strengthening the foundation for continued revitalization.
Thank you to our partners, including the City of Fresno, Downtown Fresno Partnership, Senator Anna Caballero, Assemblymember Dr. Joaquin Arambula, and City Councilmembers Miguel Arias and Nick Richardson, for their leadership and collaboration in moving this important project forward.
