Caesar Chavez Day is a state holiday is observed on March 31^st.  It celebrates the birthday of Caesar Estrada Chavez born on March 31, 1927.  Fresno Housing would like to invite you to join us in celebrating his accomplishments and his commitment to social justice and respect for human dignity.  Chavez became the best-known Latino American civil rights activist.  Caesar Chavez co-founded the National Farm Workers Association in 1962.
