Fresno Housing and the Beyond Housing Foundation (formerly Fresno Housing Education Corps) administers three educational scholarships:
Beyond Housing Education Advancement Scholarship
Beyond Housing & CalViva GED Achievement Fund
HAW Fifty-Six/The James Aldridge Foundation Scholarship
These scholarship programs are designated to support the efforts of Fresno Housing residents working to attain higher education or participate in workforce training programs.

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Applicants must submit a completed Education Advancement Scholarship Program application online here. For the GED Achievement Scholarship application, click here. For all scholarships, you must provide listed on the application, including a personal written statement, letter of recommendation or support, and unofficial transcripts. All attachments must be completed for the application to be considered for award.*

The National Leased Housing Association (NLHA) Education Fund is currently accepting applications for its scholarship program. To be eligible, applicants must be residents living in privately owned federally assisted rental housing (e.g., Section 8 project-based housing, housing choice vouchers, low-income housing tax credit, Rural Housing Service Section 515/8, etc.).
High school seniors, current undergraduates, nontraditional students, and those seeking a technical/vocational degree are encouraged to apply for one of four different awards.
The deadline to submit the application is April 12, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. Eastern time).
