Fresno Housing would like to congratulate our very own Director of Planning and Development, Michael Duarte, on his recent appointment to the Housing California Board of Directors. Housing California works to create a California with homes, health, and prosperity for all. Michael is a lifelong resident of Fresno County and will bring a wealth of expertise to the Housing California Board as he represents the Central Valley. Since joining Fresno Housing in January 2007, he has been instrumental in leading the development of thousands of new quality affordable housing units with investments exceeding $600 million. He has worked on projects targeting rehabilitation and creating new public housing, senior housing, farm worker, family housing, and permanent supportive housing for the homeless.
