Chief of Staff / Director of Strategic Initiatives & Housing Programs
Angie Nguyen has over 20 years of experience in the non-profit/public sector and joined Fresno Housing in November 2009 to oversee the agency’s Homeless Initiatives.
In 2013, Ms. Nguyen became the Senior Manager of Resident Services to oversee the coordination and expansion of services within all agency housing programs and growing affordable housing portfolio. Today, as the Chief of Staff and Director of Strategic Initiatives & Housing Programs, her responsibilities have expanded to ensure the agency aligns its efforts, policies, and partnerships with local and national best practices that promote Quality Housing, Engaged Residents, and Vibrant Communities.
She led Fresno’s efforts in the 100,000 Homes Campaign in early 2010 which has now evolved into Built for Zero. She is actively engaged in local, state, and federal initiatives such as the Birth thru 3rd Grade (B3), Grade Level Reading, Starting Smart and Strong, and various initiatives related to addressing homelessness. Ms. Nguyen served as Chair & Executive Board Member of the Fresno Madera Continuum of Care and currently serves on the B3 Policy Cabinet and Executive Board of the Fresno Housing Education Corps.
