From trailblazing figures in agriculture\, education\, and civil rights to the local community leaders who fought for justice\, this session will highlight the stories of these remarkable individuals and their contributions to the growth and development of the region. \n  \nArts & Craft Projects – Famous Faces of Black History: \nResidents will have the chance to get creative while honoring the legacies of well-known Black historical figures through an arts and crafts activity. Participants will work together to color and assemble tiles to create a beautiful poster featuring famous faces of Black history\, from leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. to cultural icons like Maya Angelou and beyond. Participants will work together to color and assemble tiles to create a beautiful poster featuring famous faces of Black history\, from leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. to cultural icons like Maya Angelou and beyond.
