From trailblazing figures in agriculture\, education\, and civil rights to the local community leaders who fought for justice\, this session will highlight the stories of these remarkable individuals and their contributions to the growth and development of the region. \n  \nArts & Craft Projects – Famous Faces of Black History: \nResidents will have the chance to get creative while honoring the legacies of well-known Black historical figures through an arts and crafts activity. Participants will work together to color and assemble tiles to create a beautiful poster featuring famous faces of Black history\, from leaders like Martin Luther King Jr. to cultural icons like Maya Angelou and beyond. This fun\, hands-on activity will inspire pride and celebration of Black history and foster creativity within the community. \n  \nParc Grove Vets – February 20th @ 12pm \n

DESCRIPTION:El Joven Noble Youth Leadership Program  \nThis is a 12-week program being offered at Yosemite Village. The series hosted by Reading and Beyond\, Youth and Family Strong program; focuses of supporting young men 14-18 years old. The program uses a “trauma-healing approach” to foster leadership skills and enhance youths’ belief in themselves.
