Farm Labor Housing
Fresno Housing Authority owns, manages, and maintains four (4) year-round housing complexes exclusively for farm laborers. Child care centers are located near each of these developments. Funding for this housing was provided by USDA Rural Development.
To be considered for this housing, applicant must:
- Be a legal resident of the United States
- Receive at least $5,752.50 of income, annually, from a farm-related source
- Meet specific income criteria.
Families that qualify for Farm Labor Housing pay 30% of their adjusted gross income toward rent, and the balance is paid by USDA Rural Development to the Fresno Housing Authority.
